Chris Cornetto’s story “Heart of Stone” was published in Metaphorosis on Friday, 14 February 2020. 
It’s my dream to one day publish a fantasy novel. While writing one, I excavated something strange from a sand-filled well – a little golem like no other, with a spark of curiosity and the face of a child. I was instantly fascinated by him.
Who was he? How did he get there? I had to know.
So, I wrote “Heart of Stone” to find out.
