Nathaniel Williams was born in Kansas City and currently teaches technical writing and journalism at the University of California, Davis. He’s worked as a radio announcer, grant writer, and musician, and has spent the past decade or so researching rare American science fiction in dime novels from the nineteenth century. He is a graduate of the Writers Workshop at the Gunn Center for the Study of Science Fiction.
