Q: Do you write things other than speculative fiction?
A: My background is software, and so my major published works are tome-length books on various topics such as database and user interface programming. Unfortunately, these works are somewhat ephemeral, since the underlying technologies becomes less relevant as time marches on.
I only returned to writing fiction after getting out of day-to-day involvement with my company, and most of what I’ve written and published since then has been speculative fiction, but I have written a few mainstream stories, and a few stories that I really can’t quite categorize.
