A question for E.A. Petricone

A question for E.A. Petricone

Q: Do you often include animals in your stories? What role do they play?

A: Very nearly always! My father is a biology teacher and my mother is a Bird Person, and I inherited their love of animals and the natural world. Sometimes animals show up in my stories because they Mean Things, and sometimes they show up because why not. Where there is life, there are animals—they share the world whether my characters like it or not.
