Q: What’s a typical writing day like for you?
A: It used to be a matter of taking my wife and our laptops to a coffee shop for the evening, but the lockdown put an end to that practice. I still find that, in order to focus, I require a space away from the distractions of everyday life. Therefore, my wife and I still go on our evening writing dates — we just brew our coffee at home and take it outside to the tent on our porch.
