Q: What’s your writing schedule?
A: My brain is at its most functional in the morning, so that’s when I prefer to write. I’m fortunate to have a day job with a flexible schedule; I usually try to get a good ninety minutes of writing done before work. I try to write on weekend mornings as well, though sometimes I bribe myself into a weekend afternoon writing session with tea and a pastry. In general, I’m the sort of person who thrives on doing the same thing every day, so if I can I like to throw at least a few words at a project every day until it’s done.
