Q: What are you reading now?
A: A Night in the Lonesome October by R. Zelazny. It’s one of my comfort reads when I’m feeling down, because Snuff’s (the canine protagonist) voice is so honest and clear that brings everything together. Of course it also includes cats, the Dreamlands, and a cast of familiar and yet unexpected characters. It’s an easy, entertaining read that gives me hope that everything will be well at the end.
