Q: How often do you think about writing during the day?
A: Constantly. And it takes one of two forms: either as anxiety that I am not writing and should be, or more constructively, as brainstorming plots and problem solving. I do my best thinking while running or bike riding, and the biggest challenge there is remembering what I’d figured out on my jaunt long enough to write it down when I get home.
