A question for Sean Marciniak

Q: What’s the story no one else thinks is as good as you do?

A: “City Dog, Country Frog”, by Mo Willems, is a fan favorite for the five and under club, but it’s a masterpiece for the more “sophisticated” audience as well. The structure is elegant, following a friendship between a dog and frog through four seasons, and the movement through the seasons parallels the arc of their friendship. The ending is as sad as an austere Cormac McCarthy ending, but has a twist that offers a glimmer of hope.
